Spring 09 Week 4 (Feb 16-20)

Tuesday, Feb 17: MEET IN HELM-CRAVENS LIBRARY! Come to Java City at regular class time and we will go to the library workshop in Helm 6 together.

Thursday, Feb 19: Read Phelps essay in Thinking Your Way to Success (pages 11-15).

Also read Thomas Friedman's intro to The World Is Flat (1-17). It is on reserve in the Cravens Library. Go to the 2nd Floor VPAL and ask for it.

Finally, read Wendell Berry's short piece entitled, "Why I Am Not Going to Buy A Computer." Pay close attention to his criteria for "good technology" at the end.
